I also edited one of the photos that I took today of Sophie for practice for when Georgia and I come to making our final front cover image and then I uploaded the image to our group blog.

I also edited one of the photos I took in todays lesson just for practice to see what kind of effects Georgia and I would use for our final front cover image.

Front Cover Images

Today I used the lesson to take some images of Sophie (our female character) that we could possibly use for our front cover. I used a brick wall as a background because i think that works well as opposed to using a landscape background. We also talked about maybe using the studio to take further images because a proffesional background might look better. I posted some of the images I took but all in all I took about 20 images.

Location Photos

Today Georgia and I decided to take some location photos of the school grounds that we are going to use for our video. We still have some more photos to take for locations but today we were unable to go and take these photos because they are off of school grounds. I uploaded these photos to the group blogger and tried to arrange them so that they were all next to each other so that you can see the relation between the locations because this will be the main location for the storyline.

Digipak Layout & Practice Filming Shots

Today I wrote up all our ideas for our digipak layout and what sort of images we would use. I created the images of the layout using serif and I spent the first half of the lesson doing this and writing up the reasons for the layout. I then went outside with Georgia and Sophie (our female character) to take some practice filming shots for our location on the field. The session went well and now we just need to take some practice shots with Josh (our male charatcer).

Female Character's Role

I spoke to Sophie today-the female character in our video- and we talked about what she would have to do for her part in the video. We discussed her argument in the video with Josh (the male character) and we talked about if she would be able to make herself cry to make it look more believable to the audience. She agreed to take part in the video and we wrote down when we both had frees so that we knew when we could do some filming and we also discussed filming after school.
